LEX Pun Intended is more than just an artist—he’s the voice of a generation navigating life, love, and ambition in the middle of a war-torn Ukraine. Hailing from Sykhiv, Lviv, Lex blends sharp English bars with deeply emotional Ukrainian lyrics, layered with clever wordplay and puns.
His music reflects not just his influences, but his journey—from memorizing Eminem’s verses as an "A"-grade kid to channeling the raw energy of 90’s legends like Biggie, Pac, and Jay-Z, mixed with the introspective vibes of J. Cole, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, and Mac Miller.
After spending two summers in Brooklyn, Lex sharpened his English flow and soaked in the essence of American hip-hop culture. But life had other plans. Returning to Ukraine, he got stuck in the corporate grind for over four years, until 2019, when he finally broke free to put his debut album front and center.
Now, Lex isn’t just dreaming of sharing the stage with Eminem or signing with Dreamville—he’s building his own legacy. With Ukraine’s resilience fueling his music, he’s turning his passion into a full-time movement, using his art to inspire, connect, and pave the way for a new wave of Ukrainian hip-hop.
